Railway workers successfully re-railed the locomotive (Class M2 626) of Meenagaya Intercity Express train which derailed last Tuesday (22) near Avukana railway station. (2019/10/24 @ 19:07)
According to the sources, railway workers have already begun the repairs to the tracks and that steps have been taken to restore the Eastern railway line service as soon as possible.
