Up-country rail services have been disrupted since last night (4) due to an earth slip between Diyathalawa and Bandarawela railway stations. (2019/12/05)
As a result of the incident, Colombo bound Udarata Menike Express train (1016) started from Diyatalawa railway station today.
Other trains (Podi Menike and Badulla Express) from Badulla could be delayed or canceled.
Trains from Colombo and Kandy to Badulla will run up to Haputale or Diyatalawa railway stations.
