Udarata Menike Express (Train #1015) is an operational 🚆 Express passenger service connecting Colombo Fort (FOT) with Badulla (BAD) along Sri Lanka's historic Main Line. With 15 scheduled passenger halts, the service completes its journey in approximately 10h 10m.

Inaugurated in April 1956, the Udarata Menike (‘Upcountry Maiden’) is the premier morning express connecting Colombo Fort with the hill capital of Kandy and the mountain stations of Nanu Oya, Ella, and Badulla. Famous for its bright red and blue livery traversing emerald tea plantations.
