Sri Lanka Railways will introduce a new express train service on 25th of November 2019 between Colombo Fort and Kandy especially targeting office commuters.
Here’s is the timetable of the train.

| Colombo to Kandy | 17:10 | 19:53 |
The train will stop at the following stations on both up and down journeys:
- Colombo Fort
- Maradana
- Dematagoda
- Rambukkana
- All stations up to Kandy
