A meeting was held between Light Rail Transit Project (LRT) and Colombo Suburban Railway Project (CSRP) staff on 14th October 2019 at the CSRP – PMU to discuss the betterment and improvement of both projects, (the WRLRT and CSRP).
The following main points were discussed at the meeting.
- The LRT trace, and LRT stations in Main Railway premises
- Integration of the Suburban railway and LRTs
- Plan railway structures
- Appointing a Working Committee comprising of members from both projects to take important decisions
