An elephant died after hit by Colombo bound Meenagaya Intercity Express train (6080) in Kadawathmaduwa. (2019/10/10) Kadawathmaduwa is situated between Aselapura and Rideethenna railway stations.
The train derailed as a result of the accident and expect possible train delays in the Eastern railway line.
