Colombo Suburban Railway Project Safeguard team collected day/night time noise measurements from 44 points from Maradana to Padukka on Kelani Valley railway line.
The measurements were taken to run the model to explore and identify noise impacts and mitigatory measures for Kelani Valley railway line to fulfil the compliance of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and provide measures tending to the betterment of the people who reside adjacent to the Kelani Valley railway line.
