Tenders for Colombo Suburban Railway Efficiency Project will be called in December 2019 – General Manager, Sri Lanka Railways Mr. Dilantha Fernando said during a press conference. (2019/08/06)
The railway tracks in Avissawella, Colombo-Rambukkana, Negombo, and Panadura will be upgraded and electrified with the funds provided Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The total fund allocation for the project is Rs. 1.2 billion.
