Sri Lanka Railways to receive last four Class S14 (Diesel Electric Multiple Units) DEMUs from China within this month. The shipment left China last Tuesday (03) as reported on Xinhua News Agency websites.
Sri Lanka Railways ordered 9 Class S14 DEMUs from Chinese rolling stock maker CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd in 2017 and they could complete the order 2 months before the contracted date.
